Another Invision Photo Festival weekend has finally arrived!  One of my Gettysburg images was chosen for the 2014 PA Photographer’s Juried Competition.  I created a Gettysburg slide show for the Slideluck event.  Elysia came home this year, so my whole family was there to see my slideshow Gettysburg: Unlock the Past.  This year’s show combines images from the Civil War re-enactment at Camp Geiger, and my monument shots from our Gettysburg visits.  Here is a ink to the slideshow on vimeo  http://slideluck.com/diadra-sylva-2/ .

I missed one of the lectures in the morning because I attended my Aunt Aldira’s 90th birthday party.  I’ve known this wonderful woman my whole life, and we were happy to celebrate with the rest of the family.   Here is a picture of my mother and my aunt.  They have been friends, sisters-in-law, and neighbors for more than 60 years.  Happy Birthday Tia!  I love you!
